Political Spam Getting More Sophisticated

I’ve been complaining about the idea of political spam for a while now, and it appears it’s only going to get worse in the future. It seems both major parties have set up systems to make it easy for people to spam their friends. While it’s better than the candidates themselves randomly spamming potential voters, I’m never a fan of any system that encourages people to send promotional emails to their friends. If my friends want to tell me something, they know how to reach me. They don’t need some automailing system to help them.
