Kids Targeted By Online Gambling Ads

from the they're-everywhere dept

It seems that every time I go to Yahoo these days I’m confronted by online gambling ads. It seems they’re one of the few types of companies still buying ads in bulk these days. The FTC has looked at where else these ads are showing up and has found that many are on sites targeted towards children. They also found that, not surprisingly, many of these gambling sites do little to keep children out. Porn and gambling. It seems that the internet is turning into Las Vegas. Where are the cheap buffets and gaudy hotels?
