Collecting The Debris Of Dot Coms Past

from the things-to-do-when-your-a-laid-off-dot-commer dept

I know I’ve heard of people doing this before, but it seems that yet another group of folks is trying to record the history of failed dot coms and is looking for all sorts of crap from the dot com boom days. They want things like original business plans and emails about “big news” events like IPOs from CEOs of companies that no longer exist. The plan is to take all this stuff and put it together so future entrepreneurs can learn from the mistakes of those in the past. Of course, history has shown that the next set of entrepreneurs will make their own set of ridiculous mistakes. It’s all part of the process.
