Fortune Names J-Phone A Cool Company
J-Phone is Japan’s third largest mobile phone operater. While NTT is focused on rolling out 3G service, J-Phone is squeezing revenues from Movie Sha-Mail, a short video messaging service, that runs over its existing network. Its success has led Fortune to name J-Phone one of their cool companies of the year. What’s really cool is that J-Phone is making money with innovative applications today.
