Verizon National BREW Launch This Month
On June 17 Verizon will be the first and only nation US carrier to support Qualcomm’s BREW platform. User will be able to use BREW to download games and ringtones. BREW is just part of the mix, Verizon is also going to launch Java support next year. Unless you really, really want to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf on your phone, just wait for Java. There will be much more to choose from. Update: Alltel has also struck a deal with Qualcomm to deploy BREW.
