Producing Online Conferences
from the lots-of-glitches dept
I keep getting email and junk mail inviting me to attend all sorts of web-based conferences and seminars. They’re, apparently, quite the popular thing to do these days. Of course, I never really thought about what goes into producing one, but luckily, the San Jose Mercury News tells us all about the day in the life of an online conference producer. Basically, it seems that it involves dealing with lots of technical glitches and then refunding everyone the money they paid. Lots of fun.

You should probably just rename this site Siliconvalley.com, or better yet, just put a redirect on the URL so it points to Siliconvalley.com
