What Geeks Were Looking At
from the scary-stuff dept
I couldn’t get the wireless connection to work properly yesterday during the morning keynote at the O’Reilly Conference, but apparently, plenty of others did. Rob Flickenger from O’Reilly used some software to take a look at what images everyone was checking out during the talk, and has written a column talking about the changing interests of the geek mind as the talk went on. As he points out, the collective, visual, web based image of the geek mind isn’t always a pretty thing.
