Logica Hit By SMS Slowdown
The SMS slowdown and general telecom slowdown has caused Logica, a leading vendor of SMS services and infrastructure, to cut staff and reduce its outlook for the second half of the year. Logica’s troubles aren’t unique but should be considered a reflection of the wireless industries transition from fast growing 2G services to still developing 2.5G and 3G services.
