Mobile Carriers Still Don't Know How To Price
from the not-what-they're-doing-now dept
For quite some time I’ve been saying that mobile carriers are being very stupid in how they’re going about pricing their wireless data services. It seems that that trend is continuing. Mobile carriers are trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of users – which is slowing the adoption rates. Confused customers who can’t compare plans at all, and have no idea what they get when they pay $10 for a megabyte of data, aren’t interested. They expect compelling services at reasonable prices. Apparently, that’s too difficult for the mobile carriers to comprehend.
