A Bit Of Irony For Microsoft's Interoperability
from the oops dept
theodp writes “Wonder if MIT Professor Stuart E. Madnick, Microsoft’s expert witness on interoperability, is aware that folks are running into Internet Explorer compatibility problems that prevent them from downloading Madnick’s own White Papers and are being advised that the download issues do not occur with Netscape Communicator!” This is, of course, referring to the testimony of professor Madnick (who’s last name is a simple typo away from mine) in support of Microsoft.

Not IE
“Unfortunately, we are finding some compatibility problems between the recent versions of Acrobat Reader and Internet Explorer.”
Then they go on to describe how to adjust settings in Acrobat, not IE. Sure it only happens in IE, but is it really IE’s problem ?
