Killer M-Commerce App?
Ericsson has developed a system that allows users to pay for parking via their mobile phones. The system can alert users when their time is nearly up and allow them to top up the meter, all via the phone. What a great idea. Simple concepts like this could help mobile phone users become comfortable with their phones as more than just voice devices. This may fly better in Europe where all users are standardized on GSM phones. It may be tougher to implement in the US with our mix of network technologies.
