Is Nokia Losing It?

from the where-are-the-new-phones? dept

I was just reading this story, and before I could finish and post it, someone had already emailed me a copy saying that it was wrong. It’s a Business Week article suggesting that Nokia, considered the worldwide leader in mobile phones, is screwing up in the U.S.. While the little Nokias were the phone to have over the past few years in the U.S., they’ve been very slow to introduce new phones. Meanwhile, many of their competitors have leapfrogged past them and are now offering cooler phones with many more features and color screens. In a world where having the latest and greatest (and most funky features) is still very important, they might have a point. Of course, that doesn’t mean that Nokia can’t make a comeback.
