Conflicts Of Interest

from the you-scratch-my-back... dept

The Misanthrope writes “In the media-merged antitrust pot calling the kettle black department, this from the Wall Street Journal via Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player optimized MSNBC: “Deal steers AOL merger reviews to agency led by ex-partner.” I’m posting this half because of The Misanthrope’s description… but as for the actual article, it seems like a stretch. People are looking for a controversy that probably isn’t there. They asked for some advice from an expert in the field who has (in the past) worked at AOL. I’m not sure that’s enough to paint a huge picture of bias.
