ChillingEffects: Dealing With Big Company Legal Departments

Here’s a NY Times article about the new legal information site from the EFF and various law schools to help small sites that receive “cease and desist” letters from big companies. Many times, of course, those letters have no real legal foundation and are just used to scare individuals or small companies into complying. Unfortunatley, the site ChillingEffects currently seems overwhelmed by every single weblog on earth pointing to it.
