Is Jim Clark Back In The Saddle?
from the is-that-a-good-thing? dept
The Red Herring is pretty well known for overhyping things that its “friends” are working on, and the latest article about Jim Clark and Neoteris sounds exactly like that. They say that Neoteris is almost a sure thing thanks to being the first company Clark has backed in over a year. That might make some sense if Clark’s star hasn’t fallen so far. Everyone used to talk about the wonders of creating SGI, Netscape, Healtheon and other companies… but it seems like all of his companies are now struggling (or gone completely). Plus, I’ve pointed out many times that a huge warning sign for me is when the press starts focusing on a single personality associated with the company, as opposed to the product, the opportunity, or (best yet) the customers.

Jim Clark. right place, right time, genuis, but let’s see things for what they are. NSCP had ZERO business model. Pure stock scam. AOL = idiot suckers. Now suing, such a moot point. Laughable.
