Internet Users Are Socially Well Adjusted

from the well,-most-of-them... dept

Remember those ridiculous studies saying internet users were more depressed and less likely to have any social life (or whatever they were saying). Well, it turns out (as most of us knew) that it’s really not true. Here’s yet another study showing that most internet users lead more sociable lives than non-internet users. Of course, this study is in the UK, so maybe the Brits are just better at this socializing stuff. Anyway, I think it’s a bit of a disservice to classify “internet users” as a group any more, considering the number of people who fall into that category makes them anything but a cohesive group with common characteristics.
