Outsourcing Okay

It seems that companies that outsource the boring and mundane functions of other businesses are actually doing okay. While some companies didn’t trust these outsourcers originally, they’re growing to use them a lot more. In many cases I think outsourcing certain functions makes sense for many small and mid-sized businesses. Where it gets tricky is when you start outsourcing too many critical areas, and you begin to lose control of what’s happening with them. Maybe companies need a Chief Outsourcing Officer to watch over all their outsourcing relationships.
