Dialup Subscribers Are Content

from the perhaps-they're-all-crazy? dept

Back to the topic of the month: does anyone actually want broadband? The latest study says that nearly 75% of dialup users are content with their “narrowband” method of connecting to the internet. Having just had to spend the last few months back on dialup before being able to find a new broadband provider, I can see where many people are coming from. It is certainly ok to just have a dialup connection. However, for many things it does make life more frustrating. It’s also a little unclear from the study how people feel about broadband.
