HP-Compaq Supporters Striking Back

In the wake of the H & P children of HP coming out against the merger, some of the deal’s defenders are coming out with more force. A column at News.com defends the deal while calling the younger Hewlett and Packard “trust fund kids” with “silver–no, make that platinum–” spoons in their mouths. He does make some good points about why the merger might not be such a bad thing. He also chastises the HP employees who are still so focused on the famous “HP Way” which many (including Carly Fiorina) believe needs to go away.
