High Tech Truckin'

from the keep-on-truckin' dept

An interesting look at some of the innovations that are showing up in trucks these days. It seems like they’re getting pretty sophisticated. Some of them are designed to help keep a truck safe (avoid getting to close to cars, swerving out of lanes, hitting things in the dark or falling asleep). Others are designed to make the driver more efficient. The standard stuff like GPS and automated reporting back to the home office are becoming more common. The drivers seem to like the tools that keep them safer, but aren’t happy about the “big brother” aspect of the tracking stuff.
