GameCube Available… Not It's Not

For a few minutes today, you might have been able to order a new Nintendo GameCube from the Toys R Us website. Apparently, it was up for just a few minutes before selling out. There was even one story of a guy who had it in his shopping cart, but when he clicked to check out, he was told it was sold out. That seems odd, since usually if something is in the shopping cart, a company will pull it “off” the shelf. Still, if you thought that perhaps the GameCube wouldn’t see the same buying frenzy the Playstation 2 got last year, you might be wrong.
