Creating A Better Internet Through Kids

from the those-crazy-kids dept

A good (long) article from Inter@ctive Week about how kids are driving the next generation of computing. It’s becoming more and more important for companies to figure out how kids (“tweens” and teens) are using computers, because that will help determine what sort of products they’ll use as adults. One of the findings they mention is that kids don’t mind targeted marketing. They find it convenient. I’m wondering if that’s really true, or if it’s just the wishful thinking of companies who have set up tests to show that to be true.
