Multimedia On Non Multimedia Phones

from the just-how-do-you-do-that? dept

Nokia is apparently launching a service in Europe (and possibly elsewhere) to allow those of you with Nokia phones to get multimedia messages on your phone. Considering the fact that the phones are only designed to get text messages, how are they planning on doing this? Well, that’s the trick. They’re just going to send you a message on your phone that points you to a website… which you can’t check until you get to a real computer with internet access. Apparently, they expect people to pay for this service.
