Are Smart Phones Too Smart?

An interesting article pointing out that many of the new “smart phones” that are being hyped won’t actually do all they’re expected to do (as if this is a surprise from a tech product). Many of the features that everyone is talking about rely on 2.5G or 3G networks to be widely available. While there are some initial tests of 2.5G around the US (or, well, it seems just in Seattle right now), we’re still talking a few years before we get anywhere near 3G.
