Microsoft Prepared To Stop AOL From Buying AT&T Broadband

Microsoft is apparently planning ahead. While AOL-Time Warner is thinking about possibly bidding on the AT&T cable unit that has already spurned an offer from Comcast, Microsoft is figuring out how they can use their financial clout to block AOL from buying AT&T Broadband. They may even give money to rival bidders.
