World Bank To Avoid Protesters By Meeting In Cyberspace

Todd writes “The World Bank is hoping that its move to interactive webcasting on the internet will become a model which allows for active participation by viewers across the world.” Sounds like they’re running a bit scared this year. Of course, now we just have to wait and see if the rioters get some hacking skills… Update: Well, that didn’t take long. Folks are already working on ways to disrupt the online meetings. Of course, it just won’t be as fun as rioting in the streets, though.
