Sprint's Fixed Wireless Not So Great
from the negative-publicity dept
I’m sure Sprint’s not happy about this sort of article. For a few months I’ve seen all sorts of articles about how great a service Sprint’s fixed wireless broadband access was. Apparently, the reality isn’t so great. It doesn’t seem to work half the time. Sprint is having trouble keeping up with all the complaints, and they’re not sure what to do to fix it all. Since they may have to replace all of their infrastructure soon, they don’t want to perform upgrades for nothing. I understand why they’re doing this – but whatever happened to building something that works before going out and selling it? Companies are in such a rush to get stuff out the door that they seem to have stopped caring completely about quality.
