After being immersed in technology for the past few years, bay area dot-commers are volunteering in droves for the Peace Corps. This year had a 55 percent jump in applications. I’ve always wanted to join the Peace Corps. Honest. Or maybe the geekcorps would be a nice compromise between volunteerism and staying connected to the tech world.
