Some Angel Investors Still Investing – Others Are Gone

from the shakeout-stories dept

It seems that some angel investors – generally older ones who understand these things – are sticking around and still investing in companies. They realize that now may be the best time to invest since valuations are low, and there’s less pressure to push not-ready-for-prime-time products out the door. Others, however, are running scared. I tend to agree with the investors who are still in the game. They have a longer term view – which is more likely to be sucessful than the “I want to cash out yesterday with 50 times my investment” mindset that was around a year ago.
