AOL UK Bans Time

from the clocks-are-evil dept

In what seems like something of a pointless idea, workers in AOL UK are trying to wipe out time from their daily work lives. They’re no longer wearing watches, clocks have been covered up, and some are even using tape to cover up clocks on their computer screens. Officially it’s for a study to see how workers work without time pressures (yeah, right). The reality, however, appears to be some sort of bizarre promotion about AOL UK’s unmetered access program. Wired is also running an article about the stunt in which they quote a number of people who are not happy about the idea.
