ABC Working On The Runner TV Show

Back in August, Germany put on their reality TV show of Reality Run, which was a Running Man-style reality show where people tried to hunt down a “runner”. It didn’t work out so well as the runner was caught in under a week. At the time I predicted that the show would be appearing on US television sometime soon, and that appears to be true. The writer, who absolutely gushes over the show like it was the greatest idea ever, doesn’t mention the earlier German version. He also doesn’t explain what happens to the show if the runner gets caught in the first week. Instead he just goes on and on about how this will be the first real “convergence” show combining the internet and television. I guess he didn’t watch Big Brother. Oh wait, no one watched Big Brother.
