Kozmo's New Plan

As Kozmo struggles to figure out a way to survive, they’re laying people off and changing their business plan. They’re now going to start printing a catalog version of their service which they’ll send out to people. To me, that seems like a pretty damn expensive way to change your business model. All they’re really doing is printing up their website – which has to be costly. Plus, they’re taking phone orders in addition to web orders, which means they need more operators. The only other real difference is a plan to lease out some of their warehouse space to other retailers.
