Computing Is Boring
from the go-to-biotech,-young-man dept
In a speech, Larry Ellison said that computers are becoming boring and he’d go into biotech now, if he were young. He also suggests (and I’d say this is a bit of a stretch) that there will be no new computing architecture for the next 1,000 years. He claims that there was mainframes, then client-server, and now internet computing, and that’s it. We’re done. Might as well pack up and go home.

But, if he went into biotech, he might become young again.
(just thought that comment to be funny with all the hype this past year on genetics and aging…)
