John Doerr Called Lehman Prior To Amazon Report

Apparently before the Lehman Brothers’ report that trashed Amazon.com came out, Amazon had John Doerr call the firm to dispute the report. It’s a little surprising that a company like Amazon would ask its venture capitalist to dispute the report, but it suggests that Wall Street simply doesn’t believe Aamzon’s own financial people any more.
