Push Is Back

Remember when Pointcast was the next big thing? The browser was dead and “push” technology was the way to go? Well, apparently push never died. In fact, it’s on its way back now. When it first came around it was ahead of its time and the infrastructure wasn’t really there to support it. I think the second you get stuck on definitions like “push” you cause problems. People don’t care about “push” or “pull” or which way anything goes. They just want something useful.
