Pick One Now: TV Or Internet?
from the this-is-scientific? dept
In one of the more stupid polls I’ve seen in a while, someone is asking people which they would rather give up: TV or the Internet. TV is winning by a bit, as a few more people would ditch the internet, but it’s still pretty close to 50/50. I started to think about this myself, and then realized that it’s completely pointless.

I already live fine without TV. Why do I need it? I get the news as it happens on the Internet. And the Internet is also a great source of any other kind of information. In a year or two, when I get broadband, I’ll be able to watch TV-quality video over the Internet. Does that count as TV?
