Some of the new wireless spectrum that may be up for auction to cell phone companies, might already be used by Universities for distance learning and high bandwidth programs. It looks like a battle may be shaping up between educational institutions, big corporations, and (perhaps) the military. Not surprisingly, the educational institutions are a little afraid of getting squeezed out.
