You would think that an article about how much energy consumption computers and the internet are using up would be fairly boring. You would be wrong. There are huge discrepancies in a number of different studies concerning energy consumption and what it means. The different sides on the argument seem to be fairly angry at each other, and there’s a ton of politics going on on each side. What is clear is that neither side cares very much for the folks on the other side of the argument.
