These “experts” said what everyone with half a brain had been saying for years: “no one ever really planned to make money”, “the venture capitalists were running the show” and my personal favorite: “everyone ignored the warning signs”. If you remember correctly, everyone knew the warning signs were there, but anyone who reminded people about fundamentals was laughed out of the country.
