eCompanies In Trouble
from the what's-an-incubator-to-do? dept
I’ve trashed eCompanies in the past for being way too sure of themselves and huge publicity hounds with little to show for it. For months they’ve been talking about how everything was great, and they were doing just fine. Today they announced they’re laying off a bunch of workers and won’t be looking for any new companies to invest in. If that’s what they mean by “doing great”, I have to wonder. They’re an incubator and a VC. If they’re not incubating or investing any more, just what are they doing?
