The Industry Standard has a package of articles about how the broadband revolution has been overhyped. The predictions that people were making four or five years ago haven’t come true, and a lot of that is due to the companies offering broadband. They’ve been doing a lot more fighting than actually preparing, and now they can’t handle even the modest demand for their services.
