Juno To Piss Off Bandwidth Hogs

It seems like an odd marketing strategy, but free ISP Juno has apparently decided the best way to stop bandwidth hogs is to piss them off. Rather than just kick people completely off the service like Freeserve apparently did in the UK, Juno will begin by adding more advertisements to heavy users, and kicking them offline more frequently. Basically, they are increasing the annoyance level in order to convince these people to sign up for their basic pay-for service. Now, I understand exactly why they’re doing this, but I always have to question business models that essentially revolve around pissing your (potential) customers off.
