Dot Coms Are Perishable

An amusing article in Wired that points out that one of the problems selling off failed dot com assets is that the merchandise spoils so quickly. That’s right, dot com assets are just like fruit that is going bad. Quickly. This doesn’t bode well for Webvan which has both technology and perishable goods among its assets.
