Political Web Sites Knocked Out By Traffic

from the it-keeps-on-going... dept

I’ve been sitting here watching television and flipping TV channels for the past 10 hours or so. As the election is still too close to be officially called (though most news organizations have stated Bush wins – now retracted) I figured I’ll see if I can find some stories to post. Why not start with one about all these political sites? Apparently, many political sites couldn’t handle the traffic they received. Personally, I went to a few sites that wouldn’t let me in, and moved on to other sites. No matter who you support (or don’t support) this has been a fascinating election.
