Work/Life Balance Can Be Good For Companies

from the um...-duh? dept

If you read Techdirt regularly, I’m sure you’ve seen me complain about this before. People always seem to feel that employees “slacking off” on the job is bad for the company. I agree that people can take it too far, but forcing people to constantly be focused on work related tasks can harm productivity as well. A new study is showing that it’s healthy to let employees have a good work/life balance. I’m just surprised that people find the results of this study shocking.
