In yet another study that simulates life on a computer, altruistic and selfish behavior can evolve to peacefully co-exist in a virtual world. Isn’t that sweet? I don’t really think this is breakthrough science here (since this idea was probably first presented ca. 25 years ago by Richard Dawkins), but it’ll probably be increasingly used to justify our “modern” behavior. I think Monty Python put it best when they said, “It’s only a model“….
