Ballmer Vs. McNealy

Steve Ballmer and Scott McNealy seemed to have gotten into a war of words at the ITExpo. McNealy made a few outlandish statements to bait Ballmer, including that software was simply a “feature” of hardware. Ballmer responded in his best school-yard insult style. This suddenly feels like three years ago before the dot com craze, when McNealy, Ellison, and Ballmer would always be making stupid baiting statements to get some press coverage. That hasn’t been happening lately, so I think this must be a good sign.
