Salon, which has been struggling to stay alive, is now planning to spinoff a new company focused on its content management software. It’s a good idea, but they’re a bit late to the party. There are tons of content management solutions out there. However, apparently, most of them are terrible. Some people believe that if Salon’s is any good, it could be successful.
