White House West Wing Enjoys Broadband Porn
from the hmmm.... dept
Anonymous Coward writes “Now we know why Al Gore was so hot on creating the Internet. Donkeys, dogs, and teens were among the favorite sites. I don’t think Joseph Lieberman is going to be welcome around the office if Gore wins!” I have no idea if any of this is based on fact at all, but for those looking for political controversy here’s a place to start.

Talk about hearsay. Give me a break. There isn’t a business in America that doesn’t have employees that don’t surf porn at some point during their work day. This type of reporting second hand information is irresponsible.
Re: No Subject Given
It’s not a business, Dan. It’s government. Have you ever worked for local/state/federal government? You can get fired for balancing your checkbook on taxpayer time.

By you standard Watergate would just be hearsay! Often times high level sources don’t want to reveal themselves for good reason. The charges are going to be leveled on the A HREF=

Sorry, something’s wrong with the HTML even though it previewed just fine.
The charges will be leveled here at 2:30 eastern time for those of you who can watch broadband at work! http://foxnews.com/newsnow/video/fnc50.asx
Re: No Subject Given
My point is that it’s not illegal. It may be against government worker policy, but it’s not illegal. I could care less if a government worker is looking at porn during the day. If they’re getting their job done and it’s not illegal, I don’t give a crap. I’d rather see a history of how the sewing machine was made on the news than a report on this. It just doesn’t effect our day to day lives.
And, Watergate was a crime. Little bit of a difference.
Re: Re: No Subject Given
Dan,
Have you no sense of irony? The hypocrites *tried* to make it illegal for you and I *at home* even, but the courts shot em down. And the WH admitted it in response to the article too, so it’s not hearsay or second hand information as you erroneously asserted. Relax and go read about sewing machines and Napsterized sewing patterns.
Re: Re: Re: Good taste
I’d like to hear more hyped up trashy rumours and I think the rest of the national enquirer reading public would too!!!…. I mean Techdirt. Isn’t the national enquirer such a classy newspaper, never afraid to tell the reader the truth from their perspective! Afterwards I’m going to go abuse the owner of FC (he likes fondling wild chickens in his bathtube after watching enormous amounts 60+ porn videos).
Re: Re: Re:2 Good taste
Looks like the Washington Post had no problem reporting the truth of how the White House is using technology and tax dollars, so I guess Techdirt is in good company.
