Arts@Large Column Gone

Wow. When I posted the story from the NY Times yesterday about pushing hypertext to new levels I didn’t catch the last little paragraph which mentioned it was to be the last “Arts@Large” column in the Times. Apparently, this has upset some people. The column, which has been running since 1996 has covered the “intersection of art and technology”, and I, for one, have always found it to be a very good read. It’s too bad it’s gone.
